Before we all spend a little too much time eating Easter eggs over the weekend, please read on for some exciting club news!

We have lots coming up over the Easter period including awesome gym challenges, new classes, team member celebrations, fantastic member benefits and padel box leagues, alongside all of the great things you have come to expect from at Mode.

Our members wellness journey is our top priority - and we’re proud to offer a wide range of services designed to help you feel your best, every day.

Here’s a refresher on a few of the activities we have available to help make the most of your membership and spring into your fitness mode with the guidance and support of a Mode trainer:

  • Activation Session - All of our members are entitled to a complimentary 1-hour session with any one of our experienced fitness coaches.
  • Personal Training - Our expert personal trainers are here to support you every step of the way. Tailor your sessions with a qualified trainer who specialises in your desired area of fitness and recovery, so you can achieve your goals.
  • Re-activation Sessions – Refresh your health and fitness journey with a 30-minute re-activation session.
  • Body Composition Scan - Get a clear picture of your body composition with a quick, accurate scan using our Tanita machine, providing detailed information such as muscle mass, body fat percentage, hydration levels and metabolic age.
  • Teen Fitness Sessions - If you want your kids (12+) to exercise safely and do not know where to start then our Teen Gym sessions and classes are for you.
  • Group Classes – Choose from over 100+ group exercise classes per week to motivate and drive your fitness to a whole new level. Our classes are designed to inspire and challenge you in a variety of programmes and styles.

Ric's Marathon Success
Ric's Marathon Success

Congratulations to Ric for successfully completing the Milan Marathon. Ric successfully completed the 42.195 kilometre course in a time of 4 hours 13 minutes, reflecting his hard work and dedication to training for the event.

Mode Club has developed a new partnership with Built For Athletes, enabling all members to receive an exclusive discount on their products.

Congratulations to Veronica

Congratulations to Veronica for becoming an APPI Health Certified Reformer Pilates Instructor! This is a highly respected qualification both in the UK and around the world.

We are excited to have Veronica teaching in our new Reformer Studio, adding this to her current Pilates and one-to-one sessions at the club.

Members are now able to book Reformer Pilates Personal Training Sessions with Veronica at reception or via the Mode Club app.

New Classes

We are excited to announce the launch of three new group exercise classes which are designed to inspire, challenge and energise your workout routine:

  • Kickboxing

    New Class

    A high-energy class which blends cardio and martial arts to boost endurance, burn calories and build strength through kickboxing combinations and partner drills.

  • Kettlebells Fast Class

    New Class

    A dynamic 20-minutes workout combining functional movements such as swings, presses and squats to target your entire body while improving coordination and stability.

  • Mode Ace

    New Class

    Specific to motor skills, this class will fine tune your speed, agility and reaction time in a fun 45-minute-high energy format. This is an all-inclusive class, not only for Tennis/Racquets enthusiasts, but also those looking for a fun and enjoyable workout.

Booking Policy

We’ve updated our booking policy in response to a high number of no-shows for popular classes such as Reformer Pilates, Mat Pilates, Barre, and Mode Red. These missed bookings have understandably caused frustration for members who are unable to access their favourite classes.

Under the updated policy, you can book your classes up to 8 days in advance (from the class start time). If you’re no longer able to attend, we kindly ask that you give at least 24 hours’ notice, so members on the waitlist have enough time to secure a spot.

We understand that life in London can be unpredictable, so if you need to cancel late or miss a class once or twice within a 30-day period, your booking rights won’t be affected. You are also welcome to book on the day, right up until the start time of the class. However, to ensure fair access for everyone, if you have 3 or more no-shows or late cancellations within a rolling 30-day window, your advanced booking rights will be temporarily suspended for 30 days.

Even if this happens, you’ll still be welcome to visit the club, use the facilities, and attend classes on a walk-in basis if space is available.

We’d also recommend adding no-reply@resamania.com to your approved lists of email addresses, so you do not miss any emails about class bookings to your spam/junk box.

We’ve also noticed an increase in members booking back-to-back Reformer Pilates classes. As each class is designed for different experience levels and 2 hours of Reformer in one go can be excessive for the body, we kindly ask members to avoid booking consecutive Reformer sessions. We’ve added more classes to increase capacity and create fair access — not to allow the same members to occupy multiple back-to-back spaces.

Car Park Use

Across the start of 2025 we have seen some incorrect use of the car park at Mode and we would like to take the time to remind members of the rules for parking bikes, scooters and cars at the club.

  • Please refrain from parking motorbikes, mopeds, e-scooters and bikes at the front of the club or on pathways leading to the entrance. This restricts both disabled and emergency access ways and forces members to walk in the road which is a hazard for all but especially our junior members. Please use the bike racks and parking spaces available.
  • Family spaces should only be used by members bringing young children to the Club. This policy is in place to limit the risk of young children walking across the car park for their safety.
  • The disabled spaces are for blue badge holders only and not other members should be using these spaces.

We appreciate your understanding regarding these rules but to ensure that they are followed we have requested further patrols from our car parks team to manage and enforce them by issuing tickets when not followed.

Seasonal Classes

Spring is here, and with warmer weather we can bring back some of our seasonal classes and special events. Keep an eye out for the return of classes such as Mode Green and evening Aqua aerobics, as well as our annual summer Pride Dance Party and Outdoor Yoga.


Class Adjustments

We have moved the Monday Group Cycle to 10:25 to allow those taking part in Reformer Pilates, time to transition and join the class.

Whether you're just starting out or looking to refine your technique, Mode Club offers a full range of swimming lessons for all ages and abilities. From babies taking their first splash to adults aiming to boost endurance and master advanced strokes, our expert instructors are here to support every step of your swimming journey.

Our lessons are designed to build water confidence, improve technique, and enhance strength and stamina in a safe, supportive environment. So whether you're a parent looking to introduce your little one to the water or an adult swimmer wanting to push your performance to the next level — we’ve got something for everyone!

Our Summer Term dates: 21st of April – 27th July.

  • Lessons for children available Monday – Thursday after school & Saturday morning.
  • Parent & Baby/Toddler classes run every Tuesday from 10am.
  • Adult Intermediate class is on Tuesday at 6.30pm & Adult Beginner/ Improver is on Wednesday at 6.30pm.
  • Adult Swim Squad sessions are every Tuesday & Thursday at 7pm.

The Summer Season is coming to the door and Mode Club have got this covered!

We’re thrilled to share our new food menu and seasonal drinks, crafted to fuel the whole family! Our Club Lounge is the perfect spot to recharge after a workout, bond with friends, or treat the little ones to something special.

Cool off with our Homemade Passionfruit Lemonade, a tangy, tropical delight that kids and adults adore. Dive into fun with some Bubble Tea, complete with popping tapioca pearls and flavours to thrill every palate. Our Iced Tea offers crisp refreshment for all ages, while our creamy Milkshakes are a post-workout hit for both grown-ups and kids. Boost everyone’s day with vitamin C with Fresh Orange Juice, for vibrant energy. Adults can relax with an Aperol Spritz - a light, citrusy alcohol treat perfect during the hot weather.

Our updated food menu is packed with wholesome, delicious choices to keep the entire family energized and happy. Stop by the Club Lounge to explore the full lineup and find tasty favourites for everyone!

Tennis Coaching

As some of you will know. Jo has been off injured since January but we are pleased to announce that he will be back coaching from the beginning of May!

Tennis Court Maintenance

Courts 3-5 have received a surface treatment alongside the floodlights being attended too. We have some further work being completed on the lights over the next month and some extra court brushing and sand rejuvenation.

New Racquets Members

We’re pleased to see so many new racquets members joining the club and playing tennis and padel, perhaps for the very first time!

If any members have an questions or require help accessing court bookings or community racquets groups, please email tennis@modeclub.co.uk and we can answer any queries for you.

Padel Coaching

We’re pleased to announce that one of our racquets team, Kieron, has now qualified as a padel coach and will be offering private individual and group coaching from May onwards.

Padel Box Leagues

We’d like to thank Ben White for all is tireless work on organizing his weekend sessions alongside the Monday night padel club! In more exciting news Ben has also made an app to organize our very own box leagues. We currently have nearly 100 members signed-up for the Summer box league so if you would like to join please complete this form.

Junior Tennis

We’re pleased to announce that we have had a record number of juniors signing up for the Summer Term Tennis Academy! We still have a few spaces available and if you are interested in your kids joining a class then please complete this form and we can let you know a little more about the lessons.
